About Our Water Kefir Grains

These living cultures have a tradition of sharing, passed from hand to hand like stories. We’re custodians of these grains, and when you purchase them, you’re paying for that care and joining a community of fermenters.

We nurture our grains with Olinda spring water, organic raw sugar, organic dates, and blackstrap molasses. They’re pulled straight from our brewing vat, so they arrive ready to create delicious, gut-healthy water kefir.

Fresh Grains

One tablespoon (enough for a 1L bottle) with printable illustrated instructions sent via email. Start brewing immediately—you’ll have your first batch ready within 3 days.

Dried Grains (unavailable at the moment)

Perfect for gifts or if you’re not ready to brew straight away. These ship anywhere and stay viable for months stored in a drawer. They’ll take a few days to a week to reactivate. Each pack contains 5-10g of our own dehydrated kefir grains.

We securely ship all SCOBYs, live cultures, and refrigerated items via express post every Monday and Tuesday.

Please note we are unable to ship cold items, SCOBYs and live cultures to PO Boxes or internationally.

In the rare event that any item purchased from our online store arrives faulty, we are committed to providing a prompt replacement or full refund.
