It's been many years of dreaming and wishing we had time - we spend time with a pet food manufacturer who wanted to develop something... and in that process we spoke with a very person who told me that our doggos need flavour too. They love sour. And also that in a natural setting they would eat fruit and vegetable - wild fermenting from the ground. Rotting. They also love flavours. And now that they aren't getting their food naturally - they are also not getting the bacteria that their bodies so need. Our Daisy is over 14 years old - loves milk kefir on her dry food, with a good pinch of kraut every night. Sometimes I'll pour kraut tonic on her food, or on hot days add a touch to her water. I thought we'd make this category until we start to make something packaged just for them.
The plain kraut comes in either 500g or 250g zip lock pouches, not glass jars.
