Berry Blends 2nd Ferment

As simple as popping some berries into a bottle. Frozen works fabulous for this (in fact, I recommend it - there is more available flavour from frozen fruit!)

Mixed Berry

  • 2 tbsp each: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Per 500ml bottle, ferment 2-3 days

Raspberry

  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • Per 500ml bottle, ferment 2-3 days

QUICK NOTES:

  • Use clean, sealable bottles (swing-top or screw cap)
  • Leave 2-3cm headspace for carbonation
  • Ferment at room temperature, away from direct sunlight
  • "Burp" bottles daily to release pressure
  • Strain and refrigerate when you're happy with the flavour and fizz
  • Fresh or frozen fruit both work beautifully
