This is a beautiful book. I only have a smallish Bendigo backyard and didn't think this would apply to me but it DOES. Natasha has so much wisdom to impart - not just on how to have a gorgeous garden like she does - but that the gorgeousness is not out of reach if you want it. Gorgeous is in the eye of the beholder - and good living - having a community and contributing to that, finding joy in simplicity and pottering, admiring other people and getting inspiration from them - and if you're lucky what to do with your abundant harvest - are all in this book. I have a few recipes in here too which is all part of her philosophy of sharing wisdom and information as you get it. We have stocked and promoted Natasha's beautiful syrups for many many years - I have done workshops with her and attended her workshops. I am so proud of this book and reading her journey, in her voice is both comforting for the seasoned OR lounge chair gardener. Maybe if you are the latter it will even bring you out into your yard, or verge - and start dreaming and planning. Even doing. x A great present to yourself or a loved one.
