Shrubs: Drinking Vinegars Workshop
It's simple really – a vinegar, a sweetener, some herbs, and a little time. The result? A gorgeous, health-giving, non-alcoholic drink that feels zingy and makes you and your insides come alive.
Shrubs (also called drinking vinegars) have been around for centuries, and they're having a moment for good reason. They're refreshing, versatile, and incredibly good for you – think of them as a tonic that happens to taste amazing.
What we'll do:
- Make shrubs together using seasonal ingredients
- Taste and compare different vinegars to understand how they work in drinks
- Explore flavour combinations and techniques
- Talk about the history and health benefits of drinking vinegars
- Create your own signature shrub to take home
What you'll take home:
- Your own bottled shrub creation
- 1 litre of apple cider vinegar to make more at home
- Recipe cards and inspiration
I've written about these drinks in both my books and have always loved making them – they're one of those ferments that feel like pure alchemy.
