This is our gorgeous Kimchi Paste - it is BY FAR our best seller at markets - as soon as people taste it they buy jars of it. That's a bit harder here online for sure. It's jammy and deep and complex and ... well it's delicious. 

This is the paste we use to make our kimchi and I originally jarred it up so you could easily make kimchi at home without the hard part; the paste. So you can make kimchi with it but people are buying it because it's so so delicious to cook with. This kimchi paste plays well with BUTTER and any lovely oils or fats. 

Mix with Kewpie style mayo and dip your hot chips in it. So good. 

Add to water as a soup base. A spoonful of this and a splash of a good vinegar will make you a gorgeous clear soup to add noddles to.

Add to a pan with some butter and fry eggs or beans or noodles to it. 

Heat with some sesame oil and pour over popcorn or roast potatoes.

In a pan and stir fry broccolini. 

Add to a brine and ferment green beans or cauliflower with it. 

OK - that 's some ideas - tell me what do you do with it? 

Add to a stock for a very good ramen. Top with Kimchi. (we have a kit for that see HERE).

Make cucumber kimchi very easily with this. 

Spread on toast with avocado or cheese - milk kefir labneh mixed with this is wonderful.

Mix with yoghurt, or philly cheese for a dip.

There was me before kimchi paste and then me after kimchi paste. This goes on everything! Into savory muffins, South East Indian Seafood Masalas, a base on a homemade pizza, marinades - You name it! It's quite hard to track down in physical stores so when we move to Geelong away from Preston Market I may have to order these in bulk!

I have to have this in my fridge so last time ordered the 6 jar set! I add it to everything from my ferments to mashed potatoes! It's so tasty, perfectly balanced and goes a long way. The best!
