Don't miss this hands-on chef's table with talented cook and great teacher Cristina Chang for the Tawainese Winter/Confort Menu staring Preserved Mustard Greens. Learn how to make this famous preserved, Bao Bun dough, Spring Onion knots and go home with your own jar of preserved Green Mustard.

Menu: Gua Bao, spring onion knots, Taiwanese Beef Noodles and milk buns. 


By the end of class, you will get to enjoy the dishes made in class at a communal dining table and take the rest of your hard work home to enjoy.

This is Cristina's frist Chef's Table at The Fermentary and we are so exited to have her join our family of passionate guest chefs, fermenters, artisans.... 

Cristina prides herself in creating engaging food events. yourself in her passion for Taiwanese culture and her love of good food, cooking and doing so in an environmentally conscious way.

Cristina studied Food Nutrition and Health in Vancouver, where she grew up, and enjoys sharing her nutrition knowledge in all of her classes. But as a kid to two chef parents, it comes down to cooking food that you want to eat over and over again! 



The recipes used in the workshop can be accommodated for vegetarian and dairy-feee. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Our events are usually paperless - you'll receive information by email.

Your name on our list with the number of tickets you purchase will be on a list that we check upon guests arrival. So we are not mailing tickets, and you only need to bring yourself and your guest if you booked for more than one.

Some collaborative events might have different rules - this will be in the email you'll receive upon booking.
