Cottage Herbalist Tea Blends

We think these are fabulous teas to make Jun or Kombucha with. Also - to enjoy as hot or cold tea. Or in any of your other brewing activites of course... you could totally add them to a mead for example (I choose the Nettelmint for that one!)

We love this tea because we know the maker - who works almost like a hedgewitch fon the edge of the Wombat Forest, near our little apothecary garden in Trentham.  We first knew her from our Daylesford factory days -  so we'd also like you to meet Caroline Parker:  a herbalist, farmer, forager and workshop facilitator.

From her small home based studio, in the cool and misty Wombat Forest, she blends up her Award Winning tea and tisane range. They are all hand blended and packed by Caroline in small batches, using certified organic/ wildcrafted/grown-by-her tea, flowers and herbs. We think they're all beautiful blends & think you will too! 

When she isn't blending tea you'll find her over at Pennyweight Farm sowing seeds, picking flowers, prepping garden beds, shovelling compost, talking to plants and tearing around on the ride on mower. She also has her own book coming out soon, and you'll see her on our workshop list here in the store. x

Cottage Breakfast - A Robust & Full Bodied blend of Ceylon Black Tea. Serve with your choice of milk, local honey or enjoy straight-up black. Blended with imported Organic ingredients. Contains Caffeine.

Nettlemint - A Nourishing & Refreshing blend of Nettle, Spearmint, Peppermint & Oat Straw*. Nettlemint is formulated with herbs that have traditionally been used to help calm and soothe nervous tension, as well as reduce feelings of anxiety and fatigue. Nettlemint will have you feeling cool, calm and clear-headed. Blended with Organic ingredients that are locally sourced and imported Caffeine Free. *Oat Straw may contain traces of gluten.

Love Potion - 2021 SILVER MEDAL WINNER, GOLDEN LEAF AWARDS. A Heart Warming blend of Rose Petals & Hips, Hawthorn Berry, Hibiscus & Marshmallow Root. Love Potion has been formulated with herbs that have traditionally been used to help with the healthy functioning of the heart, both on a physical and emotional level. Sweet Dreams - 2021 SILVER MEDAL WINNER, GOLDEN LEAF AWARDS. A Calming & Relaxing blend of Scullcap, Passionflower, Hops, Chamomile, Cornflowers & Calendula with a hint of Lavender. This blend will help you fall and stay asleep, and is great for people with busy chattering minds that keep them awake at night. Enjoy Sweet Dreams with a teaspoon of honey, an hour before bed, as a part of your healthy sleep routine. Blended with Organic & Wildcrafted ingredients that are locally sourced and imported. Calendula & Cornflowers are grown in our paddock at Pennyweight Farm. Caffeine Free. Some of the herbs in Sweet Dreams are cautioned for use during pregnancy. Soothe - 2018 SILVER MEDAL WINNER, GOLDEN LEAF AWARDS. A Fresh & Calming blend of Spearmint, Lemon Balm, Chamomile & Marshmallow Root. Soothe has been formulated with herbs that are traditionally used to calm and relax the mind, as well as aid your digestion. Soothe will have you feeling chilled out in no time. Blended with organic ingredients that are locally grown and imported. Caffeine Free.

Ginger & Lemongrass - A Bright & Zesty blend of Ginger Root and Lemongrass. Formulated with herbs that have traditionally been used to aid digestion and relieve nausea. Our G&L Tisane packs a punch and is great all day drinking. Blended with imported Organic ingredients. Caffeine Free. 

We securely ship all SCOBYs, live cultures, and refrigerated items via express post every Monday and Tuesday for a flat fee of $7.50.

In the rare event that any item purchased from our online store arrives faulty, we are committed to providing a prompt replacement or full refund.

Please note we are unable to ship cold items to PO Boxes or internationally.
