Made with wild seaweed that is hand picked in Breioarfjordur. Sol is the Icelandic name for this red algae known for its richness in both trace elements and minerals. The briny taste of the Sol complements Nordur salt perfectly ans works well with lamb and fish.

Nordur seasalt is harvest from pure and savoury Arctic seawater, which is pumped into open pans where it can be slowly heated with water from natural hot springs.

This sustainable process leaves behind no carbon dioxide – only fresh, crunchy flakes of Norður Sea Salt.

We securely ship all SCOBYs, live cultures, and refrigerated items via express post every Monday and Tuesday for a flat fee of $7.50.
