Gochugaru - Chilli for Kimchi
Depending on where you live, this can be hard to find, so here it is. You need this for kimchi-making. No other kind of chilli gives the same warmth and mild smokey loveliness that this does. It's also a great addition to chilli oils and hummus or as a mild chilli, and yes - this is the same gorgeous chilli we use to make our own kimchi.
500g is plenty for a winter's worth of Kimchi making for most or 250g for those yet to be convinced/become addicted.
