What happens if you can't get your hands on our beautiful, naturally fizzy Water Kefir?
You will need to make your own. And therefore you are going to need the culture. Unless they're dehydrated, these are fresh and need regular feeding and certainly should not be sold from within a fridge in a store.
Find them from a friend or connection who has them - or get them right here from us. We care for our grains with Franklinford springwater, Australian, organic raw sugar, and the usual fruits as they are part of our own brewing right up until the moment they are pulled from the vat to be packaged for you.
We send a quarter of a cup - enough to start a 2 litre brew, with complete instructions for your first batch, including 2nd fermentation flavour ideas. (You can check out the recipe here anyway - in preparation).
All going well - you could have a brew ready within 3 days from when you receive them.
Our cultures are never refrigerated so are ready to go - the SCOBY you get is pulled from our vats the day we send them. Please note we send fresh grains on Mondays, Tuesdays only - just to be sure they aren't sitting somewhere hot for a few days, so be patient. These will last a lifetime. x
