Pop-up dinner ~ Sake Pairing with Rieko Hayashi
Rieko Hayashi is a very mindful, talented friend of The Ferm and has done a few workshops with us over the years. She is a trained chef and over the years has also become a macrobiotic and ayurvedic practitioner as well.
Rieko is taking over The Fermentary shop kitchen for a series of workshops and pop-up dinners - and we are so excited. This is the second of a very intimate pop-up dinner series, with only 10 seats. This first two dinners will focus on the ingredient - Sake Kasu (sake lees), the byproduct of the sake making process. There are so many ways to utilise this beautiful ingredient -savoury and sweet and there is so much umami to it as well as it's transformative powers.
There'll be Sake pairing and maybe some of our own home made sake too.
Please note - this will be at a communal table.
